After short briefing about your rented car you will read through,sign the car rental agreement and do the payments. Depart for Mountain Elgon situated in the Eastern part of Uganda. The Mountain is said to have one of the largest surface areas of any extinct volcano in the world. Mountain Elgon is endowed with the most beautiful caves, cliffs, gorges and waterfalls in the country. Stop over in Mbale for lunch then after you will continue to mountain Elgon.dinner and over night [mbale resort.] or sip river lodge. .
Day 2: Hike – Kapkwai – Mount Elgon
After breakfast you will visit the exploration center at Kapkwai in the Chebonet valley and take the Mountain Bamboo Trail traversing a 7km loop across the River and the Southern rim of the gorge. You will have Picnic lunch.
Day 3: Hike – Sasa Trail – Mount Elgon
After breakfast we’ll take a full day on the Sasa Trail to see the dramatic landscapes from the high altitude and moorland. You will have Picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at the Rest Camp
Day 4: Kidepo
After breakfast you will drive to kidepo valley national park, you will pass through pianuper National game reserve where you can easy to spot some wildlife like elands buffalo ostrich etc dinner and overnight at Apoka lodge.
Day 5: Game Drive
You will do an early morning game drive and then you will drive back to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. In the evening you will visit kanatarok hot springs.and ostrich area through northern side near boarder of south Sudan.
Day 6: Murchison Falls National Park
After early morning breakfast you will drive through as you doing game drive continue guru if times allowed you visit arua falls drive to Murchison Falls National Park. You will have lunch in Gulu town after lunch continua Murchison falls national park
Day 7: Game Drive
After an early breakfast, you will go for a game drive. The Wildlife in the Murchison Falls National Park includes elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Uganda kobs, oribis and water bucks. After the drive you will return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon you will go for a boat cruise which gives an exciting panoramic view at the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls. It enables you to see crocodiles, hippos, and birds on the river banks like kingfisher, cormorants, bee-eater and the rare shoe bill stork.
Day 8: Kibale Forest National Park
Today you will travel to Fort Portal town, through the villages and beautiful scenery. You will have lunch en route and you will arrive late afternoon. In the evening you will have local guides for walks around the 1000 acre farm, to the Mahoma Water Fall, and the Walks will take you around crater rims, past alcohol brewing in oil drums, through banana plantations, coffee terraces, plots of cassava, groundnuts, sorghum and millet. Then after, relax for the rest of the evening,
Day 9 Chimpanzee Tracking In Kibale Forest
An early morning go to Chimpanzee trekking at Kibale forest National park , Assemble at Kanyankyu tourist centre and the start off with the search. Kibale national is a habitat for more than 10 primate species, which include, black & white coleus monkeys, red colobus monkeys, velvet monkeys among the many. After lunch you then go on for a swamp walk, Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary is managed by the Kibale Association for Rural and Environmental organization formed in 1992 with the aim of achieving social and economic development for local communities. You will be guided and walk around the swamp, which is home to approximately 137 bird species including the Snowy Headed Robin Cat, Black and White Casqued Horn bill, Emerald Cuckoo and a variety of Weavers, Warblers, Green buls and Sun birds. There’s also an abundance of Butterflies. It’s also rich in vegetation, such as wild palms, polite figs and the dominant papyrus.
Day 10 Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, you’ll leave for Fort portal to visit the Kings Royal tombs and various cultural groups including the Burungu community which is rooted in Traditional Toro culture that will entertain you with music, dancing and story telling.
Spend the whole half day with the local community and on village walks/tours and in the afternoon you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Day 11 A Launch Cruise Along the Kazinga Channel
After a cup of coffee, Embark on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi track and Queens mile in the park and expect to see Lions, Elephants, cape buffalo, Warthogs, leopard, hyena, mongoose, water bucks, Uganda kobs, Topi and lots many small animals and birds. After lunch, enjoy the unique evening 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of Hippos and many animals may be seen drinking at the water’s edge. This launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous with well over 550 resident species.
Day 12 Bwindi for Gorillas
Today you will depart for Bwindi National park through the southern sector of the park; here you will be viewing the famous tree climbing lions as the rest up in the large forest trees. You will have lunch and then go for a community walk through the near by villages.
Day 13 Gorillas Trekking
An early breakfast after which you proceed to the park offices for a briefing, then continue on the trek. We advise you bring with hiking shoes, long pants and long sleeved shirts for the trek. A packed lunch and water is provided by the lodge, after the trek you have the afternoon at leisure, or site seeing around the trading centre.
Day 14 Lake Mburo National Park
You will have breakfast and then drive to Lake Mburo National Park. You will have lunch in Mbarara town. On arrival you will go for a game drive. During the drive you will be able to see animals like the zebras, elephants, impalas, Uganda cobs, eland and so many others. In the evening you will go for a boat ride on Lake Mburo where you will see crocodiles, hippos and water birds
Day 15 Kampala
You will do an early morning game drive. After the drive you will have breakfast and then drive to Kampala. You will make a stopover at the equator for photography and souvenirs and then proceed to Kampala arriving in time to catch your departure flight.
